Program Description
The Master of Arts in Government and Public Policy is earned in one of four subfields: American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, or Public Administration and Policy. The program enhances your skills as a student in the School of Government & Public Policy, where training and mentorship are a priority. The M.A. advances your knowledge, preparing you to teach, conduct research and offer further contributions to the field. Outside of opportunities in academia, you may find career options in government, with private companies, in the nonprofit sector and more. This degree is only an option for students currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program.
